Every lasting movement begins with a first partnership. For Back to Blu, that partner was Yacht Club Galeb Croatia, a community deeply rooted in the sea and the people who live by it.
A shared vision for the coast
Our collaboration began with a simple idea: when we care for the places we sail, we preserve what gives us freedom. The club’s members now proudly wear Back to Blu clothing, symbolising shared values of respect, responsibility, and conscious living.
But this partnership goes far beyond apparel. Together, we’re launching a series of environmental education sessions, helping members understand how everyday actions – from waste disposal to resource use – shape the health of our seas.
From words to action
As part of the agreement, Yacht Club Galeb committed to organising regular beach cleanups around their base, setting an example for other maritime clubs across Croatia.
The first of these cleanups immediately brought members and locals together, turning a small coastal effort into a visible sign of community care.
“Partnerships like this show what Back to Blu is all about,” said a team representative. “It’s not about sponsorships, it’s about shared purpose.”
The beginning of a wider network
This collaboration marked a turning point: the start of Back to Blu’s mission to form similar partnerships worldwide. Our goal is to work with sailing clubs, sports communities, and local organisations who believe that protecting the sea is part of living with it.
